Welcome to Lembah Lohe Hiking Tours, a hiking and adventure service operated by PT. Sekeluarga Healing Adventure, a legally established tour company in Indonesia. We provide hiking, trekking, mountain, nature, and adventure experiences across South Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Before booking any hiking package, please carefully read these Terms & Conditions. By making a reservation and participating in our tour, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.
Our goal is to provide safe, enjoyable, and authentic outdoor experiences while respecting local communities, nature, and the cultural heritage of South Sulawesi.
1. Booking and Reservation
All hiking and trekking packages must be booked in advance. A reservation becomes confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received and our team has provided booking confirmation.
When making a reservation, guests are required to provide accurate information, including their name, number of participants, preferred hiking date, contact details, meeting point, accommodation information when required, and other relevant information requested by our team.
Availability of local guides, transportation, accommodation, camping equipment, permits, and other services depends on the selected package and travel date.
We recommend making reservations as early as possible, especially for weekends, public holidays, peak seasons, and popular hiking periods.
2. Payment
The tour price and payment requirements will be communicated to the customer before the booking is confirmed.
Depending on the selected package, PT. Sekeluarga Healing Adventure may require a deposit to secure the reservation. Any remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule agreed upon during the booking process.
The tour price includes only the services specifically stated in the selected package.
Additional personal expenses, optional activities, equipment rentals, meals, entrance fees, transportation outside the agreed itinerary, or other services not included in the package are the responsibility of the participant.
Customers are encouraged to confirm all inclusions and exclusions before making payment.
3. Physical Fitness and Hiking Requirements
Mountain hiking and trekking in South Sulawesi may involve steep climbs, uneven terrain, slippery paths, rocky trails, forests, river crossings, and significant elevation changes.
Participants must ensure that they have an appropriate level of physical fitness for the selected hiking route.
Some hiking programs may require several hours of continuous walking and can be physically demanding. Guests should consider their own physical ability before booking.
Participants are responsible for informing our team in advance about any physical limitations, injuries, allergies, dietary requirements, or other relevant circumstances that may affect their participation.
Our hiking guide may recommend modifying, shortening, or stopping the hike if continuing could present a significant safety risk.
4. Safety and Guide Instructions
Safety is a primary priority of PT. Sekeluarga Healing Adventure.
All participants must follow reasonable instructions provided by our hiking guides, tour coordinators, drivers, and other members of our team.
Participants should remain with the group unless permission has been given by the guide. Guests must not leave the designated trail, enter restricted areas, approach dangerous cliffs, or undertake activities that have not been approved by the guide.
The hiking guide has the authority to change the route, modify the itinerary, postpone an activity, or stop the hiking program when necessary for safety reasons.
These decisions may be required because of weather conditions, trail conditions, natural hazards, participant fitness, local regulations, or other circumstances beyond our control.
5. Weather and Natural Conditions
South Sulawesi has a tropical climate, and weather conditions in mountainous areas can change rapidly.
Rain, strong winds, fog, slippery trails, flooding, landslides, fallen trees, and other natural conditions may affect the planned hiking itinerary.
For safety reasons, PT. Sekeluarga Healing Adventure reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel certain activities when conditions become unsafe.
We cannot guarantee particular weather conditions, clear mountain views, sunrise, sunset, visibility, or access to every location included in a proposed itinerary.
Whenever possible, our team will provide an alternative arrangement or offer a rescheduling option depending on availability and circumstances.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or change your booking, please contact our team as soon as possible.
Cancellation and refund policies may vary depending on the selected hiking package and the services already arranged, including transportation, accommodation, local guides, permits, camping equipment, and other third-party services.
Deposits or payments may be non-refundable when they have already been used to secure services for the customer.
If a participant fails to arrive at the agreed meeting point or cannot participate due to personal circumstances, the booking may be considered a no-show and may not qualify for a refund.
Requests for refunds or rescheduling will be considered according to the specific circumstances and the cancellation terms communicated during the booking process.
7. Cancellation Due to Safety or Force Majeure
A hiking activity may need to be cancelled, postponed, or significantly modified because of extreme weather, natural disasters, landslides, flooding, forest conditions, government restrictions, trail closures, local regulations, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of PT. Sekeluarga Healing Adventure.
In such circumstances, the safety of guests and guides will always take priority.
Where practical, we may offer an alternative route, alternative activity, another available date, or another suitable arrangement.
Please understand that costs already paid to third-party suppliers may not always be refundable.
8. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the tour.
Guests are advised to bring only essential items and keep valuable belongings secure.
PT. Sekeluarga Healing Adventure is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings unless such loss or damage is directly caused by proven negligence on our part.
Participants should prepare suitable hiking shoes, comfortable clothing, rain protection, drinking water, personal medication where applicable, a flashlight or headlamp for appropriate routes, and other equipment recommended by our team.
9. Environmental and Cultural Responsibility
We are committed to responsible tourism and encourage every participant to help protect the natural environment of South Sulawesi.
Guests must not litter, damage vegetation, disturb wildlife, write on rocks or trees, or remove natural objects from hiking areas.
Participants are also expected to respect local villages, traditional communities, cultural sites, religious places, and local customs.
When visiting rural communities, guests should behave respectfully and follow the guidance of their local guide.
Responsible tourism helps preserve South Sulawesi's mountains, forests, valleys, villages, and cultural heritage for future generations.
10. Photography and Promotional Content
Participants are welcome to take photographs and videos during the hiking tour for personal use.
From time to time, photographs or videos may also be taken by our guides or team members for tourism documentation and promotional purposes.
If a participant does not wish to appear in promotional photographs or videos, they should inform our team before the activity begins.
11. Travel and Adventure Insurance
Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain suitable travel and adventure insurance before joining a hiking or trekking tour.
Insurance should ideally cover outdoor activities, trekking, medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, personal belongings, and other risks relevant to the selected activity.
Participants are responsible for checking that their insurance policy provides adequate coverage for the hiking activities included in their package.
12. Changes to the Itinerary
Mountain and nature-based tourism is influenced by weather, trail conditions, local regulations, and other factors.
Therefore, the published itinerary should be considered a planned schedule rather than an absolute guarantee.
PT. Sekeluarga Healing Adventure reserves the right to adjust the sequence, route, duration, transportation, or activities when necessary.
Any changes will be made with consideration for participant safety and the overall quality of the tour experience.
13. Participant Responsibility
Every participant is responsible for behaving responsibly throughout the tour.
Guests must follow safety instructions, respect their guide and fellow participants, use equipment properly, and avoid behavior that could endanger themselves or others.
Participants who deliberately ignore safety instructions or engage in dangerous or disruptive behavior may be asked to leave an activity without entitlement to a refund.
14. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By booking a hiking or trekking package with Lembah Lohe Hiking Tours, operated by PT. Sekeluarga Healing Adventure, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
You acknowledge that hiking, trekking, camping, mountain travel, and outdoor activities involve inherent risks associated with natural terrain and changing environmental conditions.
